Food Donations Needed for the Hopewell Valley Mobile Food Pantry

The Mayor and Council invite all Pennington residents to come and enjoy Pennington's Memorial Day Concert on Howe Commons on Sunday, May 28th starting at 6PM.  To help our neighbors in the Hopewell Valley, please bring a food donation for the YMCA's Mobile Food Pantry.

Through your donation, food and essentials can be provided to families helping to provide a sense of relief and support in these tough times.  The food items and/or donations can be dropped at the Hopewell Valley YMCA building, 62 South Main Street – across the street from Howe Commons. 

Please help restock the pantry by contributing any of the following items:

• Canned vegetables and beans
• Canned fruits
• Canned meats and fish
• Breakfast cereals and cereal bars
• Shelf-stable milk
• Cooking oil
• Household products
• Personal care products

Contributions can also be made by check, payable to HVYMCA (indicate Food Pantry on the memo line) and dropped in the mailbox inside the building door at 62 South Main Street.

For the concert, everyone should feel free to bring a blanket and lawn chair in addition to food and drinks.  The bank will be Mike Tusay and Lofash.
